I always advise my clients if they have the capacity to, is to split your minimum monthly repayment by 4 for weekly payments or 2 for fortnightly as this will save you up to 5 years off your loan term.  Also by putting additional funds into the loan even if it is just $10 extra per week can make a big difference and help you pay the home loan much sooner.
